We are open to offering the role as full-time or part-time, however a minimum of 30 hours per week is required to maximise collaboration, client relations, and ongoing development.
How you’ll make a difference
As an HR Consultant at Skildare, you will be required to:
- Build relationships that matter: Build strong and trusting client relationships to coach leaders, influence workplace behaviours and culture.
- Solve People Challenges: Assist with ER matters for clients, including performance management, workplace investigations, mediation, discipline and grievance handling, remuneration, change management, and interpreting and advising on legislation, awards, and agreements. Provide both written and verbal advice.
- Create robust HR Frameworks: Develop policies and procedures, employment contracts, EVPs, remuneration and retention strategies, capability frameworks and onboarding programs etc.
- Train and inspire: Develop and deliver tailored workshops and training sessions to clients.
- Collaborate and grow together: Collaborate with the Skildare team to continually develop your skills, share expertise, and deliver practical, best-practice solutions for our clients.
There may be occasional travel required to service the needs of our clients across NSW, including some overnight stays. Rest assured travel expenses are fully covered by Skildare.
What you’ll contribute to the team
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- A university qualification in business/HR or a related field (essential)
- Demonstrated experience in HR/ER (approximately 5+ years)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on finding practical solutions
- Well-honed interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with clients
- A pragmatic and commercially sound approach to HR
- A great sense of humour (essential)
- Excellent written communication skills
- Superior proficiency in utilising the Microsoft suite of application
At Skildare your primary focus is delivering exceptional HR advice and support, sales and BD does not form part of this role.
