Experience

I am an experienced HR Business Partner with over a decade of experience across employee relations, industrial relations, and strategic HR in complex organisational environments. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources), completed across the University of Technology Sydney and through international study.

Throughout my career, I have worked across a range of industries including higher education, engineering consultancy, and recruitment within the pharmaceutical and medical devices sector. I have supported both blue-collar and white-collar workforces, giving me a well-rounded understanding of diverse workplace environments and challenges.

This breadth of experience has enabled me to develop a commercially focused and pragmatic approach to HR. I have extensive experience partnering with senior leaders and executives to deliver strategic people initiatives, manage complex ER/IR matters, and support organisational transformation.

Specialisation & Key Achievements

I specialise in employee and industrial relations, organisational change, and supporting leaders through complex people matters. I enjoy working closely with clients to understand their business and provide practical, tailored solutions that balance compliance with commercial outcomes.

My recent experience includes managing complex and high-risk ER/IR matters, supporting organisational restructures, and guiding leaders through performance, disciplinary, and termination processes. I have also worked on developing and reviewing HR policies and procedures, as well as improving HR processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.

I bring a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach to consulting, with experience across both blue-collar and white-collar environments. My strength lies in building strong relationships with stakeholders and helping clients navigate challenging situations with confidence and clarity.

Beyond HR

I’m originally from Sweden and moved to Australia in 2012. After spending 10 years in Sydney, I made the move to Newcastle with my family — and it’s safe to say we haven’t looked back.

Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors and staying active with my family. Newcastle has been the perfect place for that lifestyle, and we feel very lucky to call it home.
