Experience

I completed a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Human Resource Management, at the University of Newcastle. After graduating, I moved to Sydney, where I spent four years working as an HR Consultant. During this time, I partnered with clients across a broad range of industries, including professional services, medical technology, sport and recreation, hospitality, health and pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and architecture. This diverse experience strengthened my ability to understand different workplace environments and adapt my HR advice to suit each organisation’s needs.

Specialisation & Key Achievements

My strengths lie in award and legislative research and practical application, as well as organisational development. I enjoy translating complex workplace requirements into clear, practical advice that helps clients remain compliant while supporting effective people management. A key focus of my work is integrating HR with broader organisational processes, ensuring people initiatives are aligned with operational priorities and long-term business goals. I take a commercially minded and strategic approach, developing solutions that are practical, sustainable and tailored to each organisation’s needs.

Beyond HR

Outside of work, I love travelling and experiencing different cultures, cuisines and ways of life. I’ve been fortunate to explore a number of countries, with China and the United States among my favourite destinations. I’m always looking forward to the next opportunity to discover somewhere new. I’m also an avid sports fan and a passionate supporter of the Newcastle Jets and Newcastle Knights. My weekends often revolve around spending quality time with my partner, watching sport, and catching up with family and friends.
